No, Cisco currently does not issue dividends and does not have a dividend reinvestment program (DRIP) plan.
For now, we believe that the share repurchase program, combined with on-going strategic investments in our business and maintaining a strong cash balance, are in the best interest of our shareholders.
We routinely evaluate the issuance of a dividend. Our Board has and will continue to evaluate if, when, and in what amounts a dividend will be paid, by balancing the anticipated needs of the business for capital, the ability of the business to generate earnings and the most effective means to enhance shareholder value in the light of current business circumstances.
